Abstract submission

The 59th OOG Meeting in Genoa, Italy, presents a high-caliber, comprehensive scientific program, showcasing the latest advancements and cutting-edge research in ophthalmic oncology. This gathering will feature prominent speakers who are leaders in the field, providing invaluable insights into emerging trends and discoveries. As much as possible, we will give all our colleagues the possibility to present their data as a talk. For this purpose, in addition to regular presentations, we are planning “snippet sessions” with very short talks.

Beyond the scientific sessions, the OOG Meeting offers an excellent platform for networking, presenting your research to peers, and staying up-to-date with the latest scientific and technological developments in ophthalmic oncology.

Abstract rules

All abstracts will need to be submitted via the online submission system below. Only abstract submitted through the online submission will be considered for reviewing. All correspondence will be with the person who submits the abstract online.

  • Title: The abstract title is limited to 150 characters spaces included. Do not use only capital letters unless abbreviations or similar.
  • Authors and affiliations: Please enter the authors’ names and affiliations in the dedicated fields. Do not use only capital letters unless abbreviations or similar.
  • Text: Abstract should include Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion, Funding (optional), References (optional). Word count is limited to 350 words. The title, authors’ names and affiliations are not included in the number of words in the abstract.
  • Image: The abstract allows for one image. The image will be automatically scaled to a maximum height of 200px. Please use the Preview button at the end to view the full abstract, including the image.
  • Presentation type: Please indicate the preferred presentation type. The abstracts will be selected for oral presentation or short oral communication.
  • Number of abstracts: You can only submit one abstract as presenting author
